Since 1978, the Guam Law Library has been serving the legal information needs for the courts of the Guam, officials and
employees of the Government of Guam, and the citizens of our community. By providing legal resources and research services,
the Guam Law Library holds an essential role in guaranteeing the fair administration of justice.
The Guam Law Library is the largest and most complete legal research center on Guam serving the entire Western Pacific community.
We are open from Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. In addition, 24-hour access
to the library is available to members of the Guam Bar Association.
The Guam Law Library boasts a collection of more than 51,000 volumes in paper format, including federal statutory materials, legal encyclopedias, treatises,
and periodicals. It is the depository for decisions of the Superior Court of Guam and opinions of the Supreme Court of Guam. The library's collection includes
legal resources from our Pacific Island neighbors, such as statutory materials from the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas and the Republic of Palau.
Internet legal resources, both Westlaw and Lexis, are available at no
charge. Free wireless internet access is available for wireless-enabled
laptop computer users. Computers are available for word processing and
internet use, for a small fee.

The Guam Law Library will be closed on Monday, May 28, 2012 for Memorial Day.
HOW CAN THE GUAM LAW LIBRARY HELP YOU?
The Guam Law Library is located in Hagatna, adjacent to the Guam Judicial Center parking lot. Library employees are ready to assist patrons with locating materials and
using the many services available. In addition, the Guam Law Library website provides users
with the ability to search materials in the library’s collection.
